Go, cloud and AI systems — engineered to hold under load.

Tyagi Tech Consulting is a technology practice led by Arvind Tyagi — seventeen years building and running the systems that global banks, ad-tech platforms and public institutions depend on. We take on the work that has to survive real traffic, a real audit and the year after launch.

01 — Services

What we take on

Nine practice areas, one principle: we only take work we can see through to production and then hand over cleanly. No reselling, no bench, no surprises on the invoice.

Go backend engineering

APIs and microservices in Go — schema design, concurrency, in-process queues with back-pressure, background workers and structured logging. Written to be read by the next engineer.

Cloud architecture & migration

Serverless and container platforms on GCP and AWS — Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, CI/CD, secrets, backups and monitoring. Including full estate moves between providers, planned to land without downtime.

GCPAWSCloud Run

Cloud cost & FinOps review

A hard look at what you are actually paying for: right-sizing, idle estate, egress, licensing and currency. We have cut a monthly bill by roughly 40% and moved billing out of USD — and we will tell you when there is nothing left to cut.

AI engineering & automation

LLM-backed features that earn their cost — document and data extraction, assistants over your own systems, and agentic automations wired into real APIs. Plus enabling your team on AI-assisted development, which we have run in production workflow since 2025.

Data integration & pipelines

Ingesting from many sources that disagree with each other — normalising heterogeneous formats, attributing records correctly, reconciling at the end of the run, and keeping the identities that must stay hidden, hidden.

Analytics & reporting

Metabase stood up properly, plus custom analytics engines when an off-the-shelf dashboard cannot answer the question — such as surfacing the winning products to the people who sell them.

Governance & audit readiness

SOX control ownership, evidence packs and Big-4 auditor liaison; SDLC, change and release governance; vendor, SOW and handover management. Nine years of doing this inside a global bank, not from a template.

Fractional leadership & team building

Part-time Head of Engineering for teams that have outgrown ad-hoc: hiring and onboarding, coding standards, code review discipline, and turning fresh graduates into engineers who ship on their own.

02 — Engagement

Four ways to work with us

Every engagement starts with a short, free scoping call. If the work is not a fit, we will say so — and where we can, point you at someone it does fit.

Model 01

Fixed-scope project

A defined outcome, a written scope, a price and a date. Best when you know what you need built and want the risk on our side of the table.

From 3 weeks · milestone billing
Model 02

Monthly retainer

A reserved block of engineering time each month for ongoing build, maintenance and on-call-adjacent support. Unused hours are discussed, not silently billed.

Rolling · 30-day notice
Model 03

Advisory sprint

Two focused weeks producing one document you can act on: an architecture review, a cloud-cost teardown, an audit-readiness assessment or a build-versus-buy call.

2 weeks · fixed fee · written report
Model 04

Fractional leadership

One to three days a week owning your engineering function — standards, hiring, delivery and vendor accountability — until you are ready to hire it full-time.

Quarterly · min. 3 months
03 — How it runs

Scope, build, hand over

The last step is the one most consultancies skip. We have done a full code-and-data handover to a successor vendor — and we build every engagement assuming that day comes.

Scope

A call, then a written note back: what we understood, what we would build, what we would not, and what it costs.

Design

Data model, interfaces and failure modes on paper before code. Agreed with you, not presented to you.

Build

Short increments you can see running. Code review, tests where they earn their keep, and an environment you control.

Operate

Deploy, observe, back up, tune cost. We stay on through the first weeks of real traffic, when the real bugs arrive.

Hand over

Repository, credentials, runbook and a walkthrough with your team. You own everything. No lock-in by obscurity.

04 — Track record

Work behind the firm

Tyagi Tech Consulting was registered in 2026. The work below was delivered by Arvind in-house at the organisations named — it is the evidence for what we now take on as a firm.

Affiliate commerce · US marketing platform

An affiliate-commerce platform, from architecture to production releases

Product catalogue, affiliate link generation and commission reporting for a major US online-marketing company — built on Go and Gin with PostgreSQL and Redis, deployed serverless on Cloud Run with Cloud SQL. Multi-network ingestion normalised formats that disagreed with each other, and attribution logic paid the right affiliate while keeping affiliate identity hidden from the source networks.

Cloud economics · full estate migration

Moving a server estate — and taking 40% off the monthly bill

Planned and executed the migration of an entire cloud server estate from an overseas provider to an Indian cloud vendor: inventory, dependency mapping, cutover sequencing and post-move consolidation of Linux and Windows hosts under one maintenance regime. Billing moved from USD to INR, removing currency exposure, and the organisation took full ownership of its own data.

Public institution · fixed national dates

Admit cards and results, on dates that could not move

Served as the accountable technology vendor to the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for admit-card and results releases on fixed national dates, twice a year — the kind of deadline where tens of thousands of candidates arrive at once and there is no second window. Also managed the contract close and a complete code-and-data handover to the successor vendor.

Functional support lead and then Senior Project Manager (AVP) for PeopleSoft Finance at Credit Suisse — General Ledger, Asset Management, Receivables, Billing and Lease Administration, serving finance stakeholders worldwide. Led India- and US-based consultants, owned incident, change and release governance, carried the SOX controls for the platform, and acted as liaison to the Big-4 external auditors.

06 — Who you'll work with

There is no bench here

You talk to the person who writes the code and signs the invoice. When an engagement needs more hands, we say so up front and name who is joining.

I started in 2009 writing LAMP web pages, spent a decade deep inside enterprise finance systems at Hexaware, Infosys and Credit Suisse, and then spent three years building a cloud-native engineering function from almost nothing — hiring the team, choosing the stack, and staying the primary author and reviewer of the backend code while I did it.

That combination is the reason this firm exists. Plenty of people can write a Go service. Fewer have also sat opposite a Big-4 auditor and defended a control, taken accountability for a release date that tens of thousands of people were waiting on, or explained to a finance director exactly why the cloud bill is what it is — and then removed 40% of it.

Tyagi Tech Consulting takes on the work where those two halves meet: systems that must be well engineered and defensible.

  1. Tyagi Tech Consulting — Proprietor Jul 2026 – present · Noida

Backend engineering, cloud infrastructure and enterprise integration for domestic and overseas clients.

  2. vCommission / BVC eServices — Head of Technical Solutions Jun 2023 – Jun 2026 · Gurugram

Built and led an 11-person engineering function. Owned the full stack: Go microservices, PostgreSQL, Redis, GCP Cloud Run. Cut cloud spend ~40%. Accountable vendor for national results releases.

  3. Credit Suisse — Senior Project Manager (AVP), PeopleSoft Finance Sep 2014 – Jun 2023 · Pune

Led global Finance ERP application support across GL, AM, AR, Billing and Lease Administration. SOX control owner and Big-4 audit liaison.

  4. Infosys — Senior Associate Consultant Dec 2011 – Sep 2014

PeopleSoft 9.1 upgrade analyst for a banking client; technical lead for General Ledger and allocations on a retail implementation.

  5. Hexaware Technologies — Senior Software Engineer Sep 2009 – Dec 2011

Bolt-on SQRs and interfaces; internal PeopleSoft Finance support across GL, T&E and AP.
