Tyagi Tech Consulting was registered in July 2026. Everything below was delivered by Arvind Tyagi in-house at the organisations named, before the firm existed. We list it as a track record, not as client work — because that is what it is.

Commercial details, client-confidential figures and internal architecture are left out deliberately. What is here is what the named organisations have themselves made public, or what can be said without breaching an obligation.

2023 – 2026 · Affiliate commerce, US marketing platform

An affiliate-commerce platform, architected and shipped

A major US online-marketing company needed a platform their affiliates could work through: a product catalogue, affiliate link generation and commission reporting at scale. We led the architecture and delivery, and wrote and reviewed most of the backend.

The stack was Go and Gin over PostgreSQL and Redis, deployed serverless on GCP Cloud Run with Cloud SQL. Data-integration pipelines ingested products and commission reports from several source affiliate networks whose formats had nothing in common, normalised them, and attributed each commission to the correct affiliate — while keeping affiliate identity hidden from the source networks, which was a hard requirement of the model.

Report ingestion and link generation ran through in-process queues built on Go channels, giving ordered processing and real back-pressure instead of unbounded concurrency against the database. Multiple production releases shipped through July 2026.

A full estate migration that removed 40% of the monthly bill

The company's servers sat with an overseas provider, billed in US dollars, with the organisation's data outside its own control. We planned and executed the move of the whole estate to an Indian cloud vendor: inventory and dependency mapping first, then a cutover sequence with rollback at every step, then consolidation of the Linux and Windows hosts under a single maintenance and cleanup regime.

Monthly cloud spend fell by roughly 40%. Billing moved from USD to INR, closing the currency exposure that had been quietly inflating the line item every year. And the organisation took full ownership of its own data — which turned out to matter more to the board than the saving did.

Admit cards and results on dates that could not move

Through the group company VC One, we were the accountable technology vendor to the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for admit-card and results releases — published on fixed national dates, twice a year. These are deadlines where tens of thousands of candidates arrive within minutes of the announced time, and there is no second window and no quiet rollback.

The engagement also ended well, which matters just as much: we managed the contract closure and executed a complete code-and-data handover to the successor vendor. Every engagement this firm takes on is built assuming that day will come.

A Telegram bot for affiliate deeplinks — then off the VM entirely

Affiliates wanted product deeplinks without opening a dashboard. We designed and wrote the complete backend of a Telegram chatbot in Go that generated them conversationally, authenticated against the platform and respected the same attribution rules as the web product.

It launched on a single virtual machine. In February 2024 we migrated it to serverless GCP Cloud Run, so it scaled with demand instead of with a monthly instance charge — and stopped being a server anyone had to remember to patch.

2014 – 2023 · Credit Suisse, global Finance ERP

Nine years on a global bank's finance platform, under SOX and Big-4 audit

Functional support lead and then Senior Project Manager (AVP) for PeopleSoft Finance at Credit Suisse, covering General Ledger, Asset Management, Receivables, Billing and Lease Administration for finance stakeholders worldwide. We led a team of India- and US-based functional consultants and owned incident, change and release governance across the Finance ERP landscape.

We also owned the SOX controls for the platform and acted as liaison to the Big-4 external auditors, supporting internal audit reviews and control testing. Alongside that, PeopleSoft and Python automations removed recurring manual effort from month-end finance processes.

This is the half of our background that consultancies built purely on modern stacks do not have: what a control actually has to look like to survive testing, and how to say so to an auditor.

Where the ERP depth came from

PeopleSoft 9.1 upgrade analyst for a banking client at Infosys, and technical lead for General Ledger and allocations on a retail PeopleSoft 9.1 implementation. Before that, at Hexaware, bolt-on SQRs and interfaces plus internal PeopleSoft Finance support across General Ledger, Travel & Expenses and Accounts Payable.

And before all of it, six months writing LAMP-stack web applications in 2009 — which is where the habit of building the whole thing yourself started.

An analytics capability from scratch

Metabase stood up over the production data model, plus a custom engine that surfaced the best-performing products to the affiliates who could actually sell them — a question no off-the-shelf dashboard was going to answer.

Backup and operations automation

Python automations that packaged remote servers into verified archives on a schedule, so that recovery was a procedure rather than an improvisation.

AI-assisted engineering, in a real team

An early adopter of Claude Code from April 2025 — not as an experiment, but embedded into an 11-person team's day-to-day workflow, with the review discipline to keep the output honest.
