Tyagi Tech Consulting is a GST-registered proprietorship in Noida, India, founded in July 2026 by Arvind Tyagi. It exists to take on engineering work that needs both modern build quality and the discipline that regulated environments demand.

How this firm came about
I spent the first decade of my career inside enterprise finance systems — SQR reports at Hexaware, a PeopleSoft 9.1 upgrade for a bank at Infosys, and then nine years at Credit Suisse running functional support for the Finance ERP that the group's accounting ran through. By the end of it I was an AVP leading consultants across two continents, owning SOX controls and sitting opposite Big-4 auditors twice a year.
Then I did something that surprised people: I left to build an engineering team from almost nothing. Three years at vCommission, hiring eleven people, choosing a Go and GCP stack, and staying the primary author and reviewer of the backend the whole time — while also being the person the board asked why the cloud bill looked like that.
Those two halves are the firm. There are many good Go developers. There are many capable governance consultants. The number of people who have written the production service and defended the control that covers it is much smaller, and that overlap turns out to be exactly where a lot of businesses are stuck.

- We have executed a full code-and-data handover to a successor vendor. Nothing we build depends on us staying. Repository, credentials, runbook, walkthrough — yours from day one.
- 02 — Say the inconvenient thing early
- If the scope is wrong, the estimate is optimistic, or the AI feature you want will not repay its token cost, you will hear it while it is still cheap to change.
- 03 — Small and senior beats large and layered
- You talk to the person writing the code. When an engagement genuinely needs more hands, we name who is joining and what they own — we do not quietly substitute juniors.
- 04 — Boring where it counts
- Postgres, Go, managed services, tested backups. We save the novelty for the problems that actually need it.
- 05 — Work that survives an audit
- Access, change and release discipline proportionate to the client. Enough to defend, not so much that nothing ships.
How we use AI — and how we do not
We have used AI-assisted engineering in a real production workflow since April 2025, and we build AI features for clients. We are also straightforward about it: models write code here, and every line is read, reviewed and owned by a human before it ships. Client data is not fed into a model without your written agreement on which model and under what terms, and we will tell you when a proposed AI feature is worse than the deterministic alternative.

The things people ask first
Is it really just one person?
Today, yes — and we say so rather than implying a bench that does not exist. For larger builds we bring in engineers we have personally hired and led before, and you are told who they are and what they own before they start. If a piece of work genuinely needs a bigger team than we can field well, we will say that too.
How do you charge?
Four ways: a fixed-scope project with milestone billing; a monthly retainer of reserved engineering time; a fixed-fee two-week advisory sprint that ends in a written report; or fractional leadership billed quarterly. Indian clients are invoiced in INR with GST at the applicable rate. Overseas clients are invoiced in USD, GBP or AED as an export of services.
Who owns the code?
You do — on payment, and in writing in the engagement letter. That includes the repository, the infrastructure definitions, the credentials and the documentation. We keep no dependency on our own hosting, and we do not licence back to you something you paid us to build.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, before any detail is shared. We are equally comfortable with your paper or ours, and we have worked for years under the confidentiality obligations of a global bank and a statutory institute.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. The work is remote by default, and we have delivered for a US-based platform for three years. We hold India business hours as a baseline and overlap with US Eastern, UK and Gulf time zones by arrangement.
What if we already have a development team?
That is a common and often better shape of engagement. We come in on a specific problem — an architecture review, a cost teardown, an audit-readiness assessment, a piece of backend nobody has bandwidth for — and we work alongside your engineers rather than around them. Where useful, we leave the team better at the thing we came to fix.
What do you not do?
We do not do mobile app development, brand and marketing design, SEO, or staffing-agency style body-shopping. We will happily point you at people who do those well.
